Ethan Hammerton is the first of two drivers to be announced for the Graves Motorsport team in the Porsche Visit Cayman Islands Sprint Challenge GB for 2023 which, for the first time, will exclusively race on the British Touring Car Championship race weekends.

2023 will be the 22-year-old Northallerton-based drivers fifth successive season in motorsports premier motorsport race event package.  Previously Hammerton was vice champion in two junior car racing series before winning the Team HARD. This was then followed by two more successful seasons in the MINI Challenge JCW winning more silverware along the way.

On joining Graves Motorsport and the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB Ethan said, “I am really looking forward to racing in the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB, having done some test laps in 2022, I cant wait to get out in the car that I will be racing during 2023. This will be my first season in a rear-wheel-drive car so more learning but I’m looking forward to the challenge and feel I have everything I need to have a successful season ahead.”

This was echoed by Graves Motorsport team manager David Graves, “I’m excited to have Ethan in the team for 2023, he is a well-known name in the TOCA Package and has a proven track record. I’m looking forward to working with Ethan and I’m confident that we will be getting good results from Round 1.”
